‘I think if we want to go through we have to win, I think that’s clear,’ McGregor said. ‘You know it’s going to be a tough game there, so I think we have to have something in the away game. Yeah, in my opinion we have to win.’
‘Of course we have to believe. If we don’t believe, no one else on the pitch will. Our work is to bring belief to the pitch and start the game. And hopefully we can start with belief and try to do what we want to do.’
‘At that point, the stadium is full of belief. Then maybe one or two things happen in the game and suddenly everyone feels like this could be a special night. But first and foremost, we want to be fair to ourselves. We want to bring our football into the game.’
‘The only way we can beat them is to be aggressive and be ourselves, so we don’t play 4-5-1 and start breaking them up. That’s not us.’
‘It’s a big game and I say it like I believe we can win it as well, which I do, but I’m not stupid either. We’re playing one of the best teams in the world, so to play the first game here and we’ll give it our all, let’s see if we can take the lead away from home,’ McGregor said.
